Recreation of Cappiello's CHAUSSURES PERROUIN. The Perrouin Brothers were bootmakers in the city of Nantes who, for some reason, chose a heroic image from mythology as their trademark, feautring a dragon with feline features. It's unknown whether the suggestion was Cappiellos or theirs, but he certainly came through with an impressive design. The CHAUSSURES PERROUIN FRERES firm bought a store in Nantes in 1935, specializing in expensive shoes for men and women; they closed the shop in 1943.
The reproduction is printed on 230-250 gm acid free paper with long life ink to last 100 years.
Mastered directly from an original stone lithograph.
