French text on this beautiful Lake Como poster featuring the Villa Balbianello. One of the most spectacular villas along the Italian Alps that create Lago di Como (Lake Como a.k.a Lac de Come).
Mastered directly from an rare original stone lithograph to capture all the detail that created in the antique original poster.
The original poster was printed by the Italian Railway as a travel poster; printed in Naples, Italy.
The villa was built on the remains of a Franciscan monastery and retains two of the original towers. The villa was used in filming of Casino Royale and was also used as a lake retreat scene in Star wars: Episode II, Attack of the Clones.
Printed on fine archival 230-250 gm acid free paper with 100 year + archival ink. This recreation would be a masterpiece in any home; any room, at anytime.
