Recreation of Cappiello's Cognac Albert Robin. The Cognac Albert Robin firm was established by none other than Albert Robin in 1860 and the business has been in the family ever since. It produces fine cognac and pineau wine. Cappiello's representative bird of choice is more a fanciful rendering than an actual robin. Seeing as he was certainly more interested in stopping the viewer with a red breasted, fiery-plumbed bird than churning out an accurate reproduction of avian life, this should come as little surprise.
